CONFERENCE "S.E. Europe and CB Cooperation: Challenges - Perspectives"
We are pleased to invite you to the conference organized by the Chairmen and the Boards of Directors of the European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation "HELICAS", "AMPHICTYONY" and "EFXINI POLI" titled: "S.E. Europe and CB Cooperation: Challenges - Perspectives" which will take place on April 3 - 4, 2025, at the Grand Hotel Palace in Thessaloniki.
The conference is open to Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Council members, municipal officials, members of university governing bodies and academic staff, representatives of the administration of Chambers of Commerce and their executive staff, as well as representatives of non-profit organizations active in territorial cooperation.
Following the initiative launched in 2023 to review cross-border cooperation in Southeast Europe and the observed dominance of economic incentives in this area, this year’s discussion will focus on key issues, particularly governance and spatial planning in cross-border regions.
Emphasis will be placed on existing tools, potential solutions, and improving the characteristics of cross-border cooperation.
